Announcement South Gibson County High School officially opened Friday, August 21, 2009. Students, parents, faculty, staff, and community representatives enjoyed the official opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for our new school in the gymnasium. In the initial year, students in grades nine and ten will be enrolled, and in subsequent years, the school will grow into a comprehensive high school housing grades 9-12 with an anticipated enrollment of 750 students.
