Gibson County School District operates on a traditional school calendar.  Students attend school 180 days.  Our school starting date has been moved back to allow for construction projects to be be completed.  Some breaks have been altered due to the later starting date.  There is a one day break in the fall and a two-day break  in the spring.  Students attend class for a minimum of 7 hours each day.
