· The Savannah College of Art and Design a summer program in art and design for high school students. If you are in grades 9-11, see Mrs. Tucker if you are interested.

· Juniors, Murray State University offers the Commonwealth Honors Academy this summer. To apply one must have an approximate ACT score of 25 and a gpa of 3.5. If you have no ACT score, you will need to test immediately. See Mrs. Tucker.

· Juniors, the Summer Leaders Seminar at the U. S. Military Academy is a great opportunity where students can experience cadet life at West Point. Pick up a brochure from Mrs Tucker soon. The deadline to apply is March 31, and the cost is $325 for this program. Pick up info in the counselor office or go to www.admissions.usma.edu

· The Summer College for High School Students at Ole Miss is an opportunity for current sophomores and juniors to live on a college campus and enroll in two college courses . Any student who has a 3.2 gpa on 15 academic courses on the college prep curriculum or minimum 25 ACT is eligible to apply. See Mrs. Tucker.

· The University of the South at Sewanee offers a summer enrichment adventure in Math and Science. The program will allow 20 rising seniors selected to participate in a college-level calculus course and physics.
