Mrs. Emily Brown is the music instructor for the fourth and fifth grade. She also directs the sixth, seventh, and eighth grade bands.
Medina Middle School's Band serves as an inspiration and model for the instrumental music groups. This program exposes young people to the unique enjoyment of making music together and participating in concerts and festivals of various categories at the county and regional level.More information about band may be found at:

Beta Club

Seventh grade reading teacher, Mrs. Lisa McKinney, sponsors the MMS Beta Club. The National Beta Club recognizes, academic achievement, promotes character, develops leadership skills, encourages service involvement, and provides technological advantages to students in grades 5 - 12.

Physical Education

Physical Education is taught by coach Justin Lowery and coach Cristal Bell.
Our physical education program works in conjunction with the Coordinated School Health program of Tennessee. The belief underlying this initiative is “healthy kids make better students.”

We offer a variety of sports programs including: football, basketball, softball, soccer, volleyball, golf, and cheerleading.

Drama Club

Eighth grade teacher, Mrs. Kellye McNatt, sponsors the Medina Middle School drama club. The MMS Drama Club is open to any MMS student in grades 5-8. Drama Club students will be exclusively responsible for the Christmas and spring plays.
