Technology

Rutherford classrooms are equipped with computers which assists teachers to further

meet individual student needs with programs such as Accelerated Reader, A+ Learning,

Computer Curriculum Corporation (CCC), Career Discovery Encyclopedia, and Riverdeep.

Faculty is able to assess learning with testing programs such as Predictive Assessment

    Systems (PAS).

Rutherford School has two computer labs that contain 25 computers each. One lab is

located on in the elementary wing and the other in the jr. high wing. We also have a mobile

lab with 24 laptops.  These laptops can be used throughout the school. Each lab is accessible

to the students and faculty for research.

Each classroom is equipped with a computer connected to a large screen TV or a LCD

projector.  These provide opportunities for teachers and students to use technology in a

variety of ways. We are currently installing e-beams in some classrooms this year. By

the end of next year, there will be e-beams in every classroom.
