VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The Gibson County School District is expanding its Volunteer Program to all schools this year, which means we need YOU! This program was successfully implemented in Rutherford Elementary and Medina Middle Schools last year. Some of the areas where VOLUNTEERS are needed include:
Reading with or to students computer assistance
Library assistant arrival or dismissal of students
Chaperone field trips cafeteria monitors
Playground monitors ….any many other areas
We need your help in making our schools the very best they can be. If you are interested in serving as a school volunteer, please contact the school office or attend your next PTO meeting where a brief overview of the program will be discussed. Registration forms are available in the office or available the night of the PTO meeting.
At the end of the school year, school officials and volunteer coordinators will recognize all volunteers at a reception held at your school. We need you, so please contact us today! For additional information, please call 643-6711.
Thank you again for your participation in the lives of our children and for what you do to support our schools!
Katrina Jetton,
Volunteer Coordinator
