Annual Enrollment Transfer Period
The annual enrollment transfer period (AETP) for OPEN ENROLLMENT for 2021 STATE HEALTH and VISION benefits runs from October 1, 2020, through October 30, 2020. The deadline to submit changes is 4:30 pm CT, October 30. Choices are effective January 1 - December 31, 2021.
The enrollment period allows members the opportunity to make changes to their insurance benefits, including switching health plan options and adding dental and vision, if eligible.
The CIGNA DENTAL & SUPERIOR VISION OPEN ENROLLMENT for 2021 runs from October 1, 2020, through October 30, 2020. You will be able to add and/or make changes to your Cigna Dental or Superior Vision benefits.
Note: The dental insurance is NOT part of the State Plan as the district is NOT participating in the state’s dental plan for 2021.

During the annual enrollment transfer period, members may enroll in the Premier PPO, Standard PPO, Limited PPO, or Local CDHP/HSA health plans.
Any changes you make to your coverage will be effective January 1, 2021, through December 31, 2021, unless you lose eligibility or have a qualifying event or family status change during the year.
Eligible employees who want to enroll or make changes in health and vision benefits must do so online using employee self-service (ESS) in Edison (state insurance plans only). Paper forms are NOT accepted. You can access Edison from your computer at work or home by clicking here.
