Tryouts for tennis next fall will be held on Tuesday, May 12th and Wednesday, May 13th from 3:30 to 5:30 PM with May 14th as a rainout date for either tryout day. Each player will only come to one tryout day (Tuesday or Wednesday). All players will need to bring their own racquet to tryouts. For tryout questions, please email Coach Escue at escuej@gcssd.org
Tryouts for softball are canceled for this week. Will try again to do them Monday and Tuesday of next week 3:15-5:15
The booster club meeting originally schedule for tonight will not be held. There will be a meeting held on 5/11.
Do you have a child who will be participating in athletics next year at SGCMS? If so, we encourage you to attend the Booster Club meeting tomorrow night at 6pm. A lot of planning for next year will take place at tomorrow night's meeting.

Congrats to our students who competed in the UTM Math Competition earlier this week. Harper Mantooth placed 3rd in West Tennessee among 6th grade students. Amar Razeq placed 6th in West Tennessee among 6th grade students. Alex Manerikar placed 1st in West Tennessee among 7th grade students and Gavin Ostermann placed 2nd in West Tennessee among 8th grade students.
On Friday before Spring Break, our fourth group of Principals for the Day took over SGCMS! Congrats to Merritt Bush, Ava English, Rosa Lambert, Violet Matamoros, and Kinley Rowlettt on a job well done!
