In working with the Gibson County Health Department, GCSSD administration and GCHS, we WILL be having our 8th Grade Graduations. They will all be held at GCHS to allow for maximum ability to social distance. All will be held July 30 at the following times:
Yorkville-5 p.m.
Rutherford-6 p.m.
Dyer-7 p.m.
Spring Hill-8 p.m.
All students will be provided a mask for their procession into the stadium. Otherwise masks will be optional unless a mandate is issued between now and the graduations. The stadium will be cleared after each ceremony. Families are asked to adjourn to your vehicles immediately after the ceremony. Each school will continue to provide the number of tickets previously stated (Spring Hill is 8 per family). Families will have reserved seating to be determined via a lottery system. A staff member will help you find your family’s seats.

The Digital Learning Academy Registration is now open. Students choosing the off-campus learning environment for the 2020-21 SY first 9 weeks must fill out this registration form by Friday, July 24, 2020. See the News section for more information
As of July 13, 2020, Gibson County Special School District is going to start school at a Level 3. Our goal as a district and community is to keep students and their families as safe as possible while providing exceptional education for your student. We understand that COVID-19 cases have risen lately and are monitoring and gathering new information daily from local, state, and national sources. We will alert all parent/guardians if the level changes. Please see the News section for COVID documentation about the 20-21SY

Take a look in the News section for the GCSSD reopening plan for 2020-21SY. We are currently planning on starting at Level 3 but will coordinate with health department officials weekly to determine the appropriate level.
